Six Ways to Manage Your Menstrual Cramp

  1. Be picky on what you eat.

    Most girls on their period look for salty food to satisfy their cravings. Stop! Fries, pasta, chicken, and other salty food can increase swelling and fluid retention, which can worsen your menstrual cramps. Go for vegetables instead to alleviate inflammation caused by your menstruation.

  2. Watch what you drink.

Research explains that exercise helps boost endorphins. These are chemicals that your brain releases to help lessen your perception of pain.

  6. Get help from the pharmacy.
